Jesus Teacher: Teacher who had a multi-grade class, kindergarten to professionals. Teacher who was very humble. Teacher who didn’t crave for popularity and didn’t have a traditional classroom. He didn’t have enough school supplies but improvised accordingly. Taught on mountains, open boat, roof tops, small homes, churches, and even at the cross. His SWABT (Student will be able to know) objectives were very simple and hands-on. A Teacher who taught with compassion and made difficult lessons look so simple, He didn’t take the curriculum to the student but instead took the student into the curriculum. He was the greatest teacher recorded in history.
Some of us have a multi-grade class with students of different ages, different capabilities, different learning skills, and a different curriculum all under one roof. Not to forget, different problems on our plate to fix. It’s a special package delivered to us from our school. We need to handle them with care and love them unconditionally no matter what. It’s going to be challenging but never impossible. Because we have an assurance “All things arepossible through Christ.”
