Burton Adventist Academy in Arlington, Texas has utilized the Olweus Training Program and practices school-wide bullying prevention. Schools devote much time, energy and finances to school safety and security. Bully prevention creates a safe school environment.
Bully prevention requires the involvement of our students, the parents and staff. We encourage students to report when they have seen or experienced any type of bullying. Students don’t like to tell on each other, but when bullying or exclusion go unchecked, it spreads quickly throughout aschool.
The Olweus program is used around the world. Their program has beenshaped and formed with information collected annually from schools that use their program.
